They say experience is the best way to learn. By allowing the world to be your teacher, you open up the opportunity for limitless learning, that kind of learning you get from doing and interacting with others that can’t be taught in a classroom alone.
But what if that classroom was nestled 500 feet above the beautiful beaches of Nosara, Costa Rica and equipped with the top rated certified teachers, teaching you and your family not only Spanish but the authentic traditions and culture of Latin American?
What about waking up to the ocean breeze, being greeted by a delicious spread of breakfast foods and fresh juices, while being told what your daily adventures were? From zip lining and surfing, to yoga and waterfall hikes, and of course, Spanish classes.
Year after year, our camp is filled with students and families that build a strong bond and make friends and memories of a lifetime. As quoted from a previous year,
“Spanish Family Camp was a life changing experience for my wife and I, and our three boys. It came as no surprise that my boys claimed they learned more in the two weeks of camp than years of spanish class at school. You’re essentially living and breathing the kind of experience that you read about in textbooks—it’s totally priceless!! It was the perfect mix of adventurous
and educational, while also being a relaxing vacation. We’re definitely coming back next year and bringing ALL of our friends!!”
There’s something extra special about the combination of education and adventure that gets the juices flowing and the learning to really sink in. We plan daily adventures, such as scavenger hunts in town consisting of real life tasks like ordering a delicious Empanada from a local Panaderia in Spanish, practicing surfing with the locals while learning conversational words, and helping to protect the turtles nesting on the beach.
We’re counting down the days until 2017’s Spanish Family Camp and invite you, your family and friends to join us!
